Film dari Castles in the Sky (2014) bersinopsis Saat itu pertengahan tahun 1930-an dan awan badai Perang Dunia II mulai terbentuk di Jerman. Film ini menggambarkan karya Robert Watson Watt – pelopor Radar – dan tim ahli meteorologi eksentrik namun brilian pilihannya saat mereka berjuang untuk mengubah konsep Radar menjadi kenyataan yang bisa diterapkan. Dibatasi oleh anggaran yang kecil, masalah teknis yang tampaknya tidak dapat diatasi, dan bahkan mata-mata di kamp, Watson Watt juga harus menghadapi masalah perkawinan saat ia mengejar mimpinya. Pada tahun 1939, Watson Watt dan timnya telah mengembangkan sistem Radar pertama di dunia di sepanjang pantai tenggara Inggris. Sebuah sistem yang, pada tahun 1940, terbukti sangat penting dalam memenangkan Pertempuran Britania.
